Is there a way to control zone in HA the way you can in Mitsubishi App?

What kind of control would you like to have, specifically, just like the Mitsubishi app?

Maybe i can comment, i'm in same boat.

The biggest gap that I can see is lack of zone control. It makes sense that the Ducted doesn't have features such as vent direction, automaton etc. but without zones its possible/likely that I'd be cooling the wrong rooms. I'd like to for example pre-cool the main bedroom before heading up for the night, and not to find im cooling another room because someone cooled a different area during the day.

After that I'm not seeing access to the fan speed, but i think thats a problem across all of the AC's being presented. i.e. via the mitsubishi app i can set 'cooling' and then set fan speed to auto or fixed value. With this integration I only seem to be able to set the speed if I use fan mode. It's possible that I've missed it, or its a feature of the cards, not so sure. Ignore this, was just down to the view/card layouts i had.

This has previously been discussed here #6

Basically the Echonet spec does not have the concept of a "Zone" for an A/C.

So the Zones you see in the Mitsubishi app are likely a custom feature that will require a custom plugin.

From version 3.8.7, it is possible to define manufacturer quirks. If the device you are using has a property that allows zone control after F0, you can define and use it.
