thanks so much for making this repository and detailed tutorial. For a spark newbie like me, the information here is such valuable. My kudos.

Is it possible for you to update your containers with Spark 3.0.1 and OpenJDK11, since JDK11 is now supported by Spark 3.0.1 and Scala 2.12.x
