Let's say there are different ways of looking at a particular field, say with one of several filters applied. For example, for a folder there could be a #children field which could also bee filtered to just #files or #folders. It would be nice if there was a way to declare something as an alternate description, like <magritteAltTo: #primaryDescSelector order: aNumber>. In a view, these could be shown as e.g. tabbed.
This was implemented in 089f939, but may not be needed because there is already a "group" concept. How do these two compare/contrast?
