Add Linux support

Description

I would like to use it on Linux as well, currently the platform is missing from the list on pub.dev

Can we add Linux support?, also what missing if not?.

Use the plugin in my own application via Flutter dependency

That would be great! It would involve implementing the whole Linux layer though. I remember thinking it should probably be based on Avahi. I definitely won't be able to do this in the near future, but I'll keep this issue as enhancement.

I also would like to use this plugin on Linux, and yes it should use Avahi. I am familiar with server side avahi, the client side should not be that hard either.
