$beforeInsert(co...<omitted>... } is not a constructor or null

I'm getting this error ($beforeInsert(co...... } is not a constructor or null) when using objection-guid in my project, it's still happening even if i add $beforeInsert in the model

is it bug?

wrong import
require('objection-guid');
instead of
require('objection-guid')();
