Current Behavior

with some phones(not sure which phone will work like this, even with the newest iOS version), iOS will for users permission before giving an app internet access, it asks before giving ANY internet access to a newly installed app, but for session it doesn’t ask, instead it will just try to connect to the internet directly, but without that permission it can’t connect

attached file shows what happened
com.loki-project.loki-messenger 2024-08-29--09-44-15-687.log

Expected Behavior

Session iOS app cannot connect to the internet

Steps To Reproduce

  1. With some kinds of iphone(unsure)
  2. Download session app
  3. Open it

iOS Version

iOS 17.6.1

Session Version

2.7.2 (478 - ecfa3d4)

@yxzero1 Thanks for reporting this issue unfortunately I haven't been able to replicate on our end (even after disabling the "Local Network" permission in the iOS settings I'm still able to send/receive network requests)

I was just wondering if you happen to use a VPN? (we've had some other users report issues making connections due to some VPN providers not supports QUIC connections)
