What isn’t working as expected on the website?

The AAS imported titles are not displaying their publication dates (see screenshot 1; I think we knew this going in - there was an issue with how they defined the field, or something). But that information is in the AAS Marc Record for each imported title, under field 260c (see screenshot 2). We would like to move that publication date info from field 260c in the MARC record into the "Date of Publication" field in the title record itself.

What steps did you take before you encountered the bug?

  1. Click on "Database" in the website header, then select "Search titles." Make sure you are logged in.
  2. Click on the first title that comes up in the list on the "Search titles" page (ID 18750).
  3. You will see there's no info in the "Date of Publication" field.
  4. Click on the ID number beside the "American Antiquarian Society" source.
  5. Look at field 260c: it has the publication date info.
