For example, here is the process I do:
Add custom URLs to the custom rules file (even if I force-close Shadowsocks and open it, the URLs I added are still in this list, so this step seems to work, I think)
Change the "route" to use "custom rules" and set the specific apps I want to route through Shadowsocks to "on"
Connect to this particular proxy (I also tried changing the setting while the proxy was active and when it was disabled - in both cases, the settings didn't save)
Go back into the "manual settings" for that particular proxy of the settings I changed
I had it working before and I think this was how I did it, so I'm confused why it's not working. Should I be doing this differently? Or does this seem like a bug?
Thanks. It's annoying, since, otherwise, shadowsocks works great for the browser...just not for the other apps...
