hey @shreyas-jadhav why not using firebase v9, i found your repo because of having issues with implementing firebase messaging v9 in to the next app

hi, thanks for the suggestion. sorry i haven't paid much attention to this repository. but i will now upgrade to v9 ASAP. there are more upgrades i have to do, like typescript (which I'm not totally sure because some people prefer javascript) so it might take some time. but anyways thanks for the heads up.
