In private mode "previous page", moves tabs to private

While browsing on private mode, I triggered the "back to the previous page" event by accident a couple of times.
All the tabs from the default group were somehow transferred into the private group, leaving the default group empty. After that, all the tabs disappeared from both tab groups (private & default). There's no way to bring back the tabs :(
