For the design.color property, I think it would be a useful enhancement to support either HEX/RGB colors and/or HTML color codes. This would provide an easy way to customize one's CV.

In three themes (classic, sb2nov, and engineeringresumes), the design.color field supports the CSS Color Module Level 3 specification. However, moderncv doesn't because their $\LaTeX$ code has a custom input for colors. If someone is willing to update the Preamble.j2.tex file of the moderncv theme, that would be great.
