Covalence Dust
**Vanilla EMC = Low: 1, High: 40 **
As an alchemist just starting out, you have little to no equipment and/or knowledge. However, by crushing charcoal into cobblestone, you have discovered a low covalence dust, which your research suggests could be useful in making other things. Further experimentation has revealed that crushing redstone and iron together makes medium covalence dust. After some branch mining, you have discovered that diamonds and coal, the greatest and least of all materials, can be crushed together to produce the highest covalence of dust. These dusts, aside from their usefulness in the crafting of other alchemical devices, also seem to restore worn tools or armor to their former state. The amount of dust needed to repair the tool of armor varies anywhere from 1 to 7 depending on the type of tool, while the power of dust required roughly corresponds with the base power of the tool material. The precise details are left to the individual alchemist to discover.
