Where are the helm charts? #393
Comments
Hope you have good experience with the chart @heresandyboy. If something is wrong feel free to open up a issue on my GitHub Repository: https://github.com/christianknell/helm-charts |
@heresandyboy Thanks for calling it out! If you would like to contribute, I can assign this to you. |
Sure, I hope @christianknell doesn't mind if I take his charts as a base and submit a chart to this repo once I've had a close look over it for any changes worth making. I used his charts to deploy successfully recently. |
Why start a new one if there is already a working one? @heresandyboy |
Exactly, let's take your great work, update it to latest, with the standard backwards compat, deal with the security issues and bring it in repo officially here at Skooner 👌 |
@heresandyboy I meant why not continue my work in my repository? Is there anything missing on my Chart? |
@christianknell, sorry for taking a while to respond, I've been extremely busy. |
@christianknell @heresandyboy Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We planned to do this a while back. I'm glad to see that there is an available helm chart. I'm open to either keeping it separate or moving to our repo. When we have the bandwidth, I think we will still need an official one finally within the repo. |
Hi, I'm interested in taking skooner for a spin, but I wondering why you don't have helm charts in the repo.
I found an old PR with some charts that seems to have been abandoned ages ago, and a possible third party chart in the helm repository:

Have you thought about working with @christianknell to bring the helm chart under your repository officially, I'm happy to help if needed.
We have some pretty big clusters and not a single thing is deployed without helm, it'd be unusual to for us to use or install things that don't have an official helm chart.
I'll give @christianknell's charts a go on our sandbox, but ideally not anywhere else until we have an official chart.
