Would it be possible for you to create a discord server to answers simple questions about InMemoryDatasets and DLMReader? You can put its link on the first page.

I think there are not that many questions to have a separate channel beside Julia discourse. Do you see any problem with discourse?

And I am not sure how much time I can spare for such a channel.

Let me think about this, and probably others may share their thoughts.

Julia discourse is fine, but, there are many different questions there. We can use discord for simple questions about using the packages without any distraction, we can share our quick thoughts about what features can improve IMD as well. me neither expect too many questions at the beginning but it's helpful for new users.
