I can't change input method of fcitx when the cursor is in an input line of Discord.
OS: Ubuntu 18.04 XFCE

Same issue, I've tried building with:

stage-packages:
      - fcitx
      - fcitx-frontend-gtk2

And installing the new build $ sudo snap install --dangerous --classic ./discord_0.0.5_amd64.snap

Which fixes the issue for me.

I'm still using .deb version. Hope that snap can have multiple builds for apps like:

  • app-v1.0
  • app-v1.0-fcitx
    ...

Same issue. Installed with "snap install discord".
Platform: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20200320, Discord 0.0.10.

Hi everyone! Can you test if this is still the case with the latest version of the Discord snap?

I can verify this is reproducible using the latest version(0.0.53(190)). Will look into it soon(TM).

I can verify this is reproducible using the latest version(0.0.53(190)).

Note that I can also reproduce it in the official native deb version, so it is probably more complicated than the snapd confinement issue.
