cost function issue

Hi, thanks for your impressive work about DMPC. I read your paper then compare it with your code. I am confused about the matlab code on cost function. In original paper, The cost function used the Euclidean norm while it is different in Costfunction2.m matlab file. the code do not use such norm or sqrt function. Could you give explanation in detailed. Look forward to your reply.
