Settings

A list of Settings and Preferences found on the about:config page.

To access theme settings:

1. Open Firefox
2. Type about:config in the URL Bar
3. Accept the warning & continue
4. Type ultima or user.theme to view the list

FF Ultima applies all of it's customization by filtering through user preferences (example: ultima.vertical) found on the about:config page. And below is a list of every custom preference as well as a brief preview of what it will do.

ultima.tabs.vertical	when enabled, the tabs bar is transformed into a vertical layout (default) when disabled, the tabs bar is reverted to a tabs on top layout (with modifications)
ultima.tabs.autohide	Enable/Disable Autohide for tabs ℹ️ When autohide is off, vertical tabs will default to whichever ultima.tab.size setting you are using
ultima.tabs.vertical.hide	Hide vertical tabs ℹ️ To keep vertical tabs completely hidden
ultima.tabs.vertical.onlyprivate	Hide vertical tabs ℹ️ To keep vertical tabs completely hidden ~ except for in Private Windows
ultima.tabs.closetabsbutton	Enable the close x button for vertical tabs. ℹ️ You can multiselect tabs and press the x button to close them all. It functions just as regular Firefox tabs. ℹ️ You can also middle click tabs to close them.
ultima.sidebar.autohide	Autohide the Sidebar. Expanding it on hover.
ultima.sidebar.hidden	When the sidebar has autohiding enabled, it will become completely hidden < 1px ℹ️ When used with xstyle.squared or xstyle.squished you can hover screen corners to trigger sidebar expansion	🚧
ultima.sidebar.longer	When autohiding the sidebar, the expanded width will be longer (350px)	🚧
ultima.sideberry.autohide	Autohide only Sideberry ℹ️ The Sidebar will autohide/show only when Sideberry is displayed. Other Sidebar pages like Bookmarks, History, etc, will stay in a fully visible state.	343008543-c6140b4c-7331-4c15-be0a-41af08037d5d.webm
ultima.theme.extensions	Extensions-Panel theme, compact-icons or default list-view
ultima.xstyle.containertabs	Three optional styles for container tabs, make your pick
ultima.xstyle.squared	Square the theme; No margins, borders, or rounded corners
ultima.xstyle.squished	Same as above, but preserving the theme's rounded aesthetic.. No margins and borders	🚧
ultima.xstyle.urlbar	when add-on-themes are in use the url bar default view becomes transparent with no shadow
ultima.urlbar.suggestions	Toggle URL Bar suggestions on/off	...
ultima.urlbar.centered	Center URL Bar text	...
ultima.urlbar.hidebuttons	Hide URL Bar buttons unless hovered	...
ultima.OS.(etc)	For linux title buttons to render correctly, select your DE	...
ultima.OS.mac	This can be used regardless of OS, to simulate left side titlebar buttons. Mac Users will automatically have correct placement.
toolkit.tabbox.switchByScrolling	When enabled, you can scroll through the tabs bar to switch up and down between them. ℹ️ Depending on your workflow, you may like this preference.	...
