Sun reflection is present in nether.

Its okay in end, but in the nether it looks really weird, since the nether doesnt have a sky

Yes it's stylistic. Most of light reflections don't make much sense but usually make metals look prettier. Although in Nether's fake sun light case I'm not entirely sure anymore ever since I added fake block light reflection which at least make somewhat sense (and the Nether has a lot of block light from the lava..)
