I love the activity log, especially that it is possible to directly jump to the expense from the log. A feature not existing in Tricount.

But we use almost always the same title like "Grocery" so the current activity log is not very helpful.

It would be really cool if next to the title, the sum, the date and the paid by could be included in the activity log.

I.e.

Expense “Test 3” - 2024-10-09 17:10 - 201.32€ by Payer created by Creator.

This would make clear with one glimpse what happened when.

Hello @scastiel,

I tried implementing this, then I've realized if we update expense amount, then the created expense activity object also gets the new value.

Here, test1 expense was created with ₹100 and then updated to ₹1000 and then to ₹7700. But when listed it shows the latest value in all the cases:

I have no Idea of the actual implementation. But I imagined that only the strings are saved with a reference to the object itself.
This way the history would be become something of an "audit log" and would not be prone to display error.
Thank you for already for considering implementation :-)
