My name is Matthew. I'm a Business Analyst by trade. I'm born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. I've lived in other cities in Australia and overseas but moved back a few years ago to settle and start a family.

I started contributing to open source projects many years ago after moving overseas before I found full time work. I've been hooked on it since - I don't do it for the money, but I know that some larger organisations have benefited from the work that I've done on detekt, and there's always more to do!

My personal laptop is mostly used for open source development. Slow laptops slow me down and demotivate. It's time for a new one. Contributions from those that benefit from my work would be very welcome. So would some 🍺 money to keep me going during the less exciting work that comes up from time to time!
