HappiHacking
Purpose
The purpose of HappiHacking is to:
Increase productivity and performance by cutting cruft and simplifying solutions,
for fun and profit,
and greater good.
We dislike waste in all forms. We want to minimize waste by increasing people’s productivity, especially the productivity of developers. We also want to increase the performance of computer programs in order to reduce wasted cycles.
We dislike bloat. Therefore we aim to build simple and elegant solutions, we also like to clean up old programs and old designs by carefully and incrementally removing cruft that has accumulated, without losing the domain knowledge inherent in the code.
We do this because we think it is fun, but also to make a profit and a living.
We do not want to do this for companies we see as unethical, and we would love to do it only for companies that make the world a better place.
“We believe in happiness, profitability and the greater good. We also believe in providing simple and elegant solutions to the right problems and knowledge sharing. This increases productivity and drives excellent performance.”
