My name is Justin Haygood, a software engineer that currently resides in Hiram, GA, a semi-rural suburb northwest of Atlanta, GA. I'm married with 2 children (a boy and a girl) and 2 dogs.

I primarily use Linux systems, and where possible, I've switched various family members to using Linux full time. My preferred operating system is elementary OS, but I also use Fedora at work.

In my free time, I both contribute to elementary OS and various other projects ad hoc, but I also develop a small amount of applications intended for elementary OS:

• Mauborgne - a 2FA OTP app
• Big Purple Remote - A Roku Remote app
• Gotham - Allows you to force dark mode on specific Flatpak apps

My big headline contributions to elementary OS:

• Support for NVIDIA Optimus (Hybrid Graphics) in the Applications Menu, About Screen, and Dock in elementary OS
• Flatpak permission handling in System Settings in elementary OS
• Various other small bugs and features

I also have contributed changes to json-glib and WebKit (though, a lot of my WebKit patches are ancient at this point, but are now available in various WebKit and Blink browsers at this point), as well as other open source projects over the last few decades (such as MassTransit, SoapCore, grpc-client-cli, HangFire, Alchemy WebSockets, Aura .NET MongoDB ORM, and openstack.net)
