Prometheus does not seem to support Brotli compression [1], so I don't think we have to either? [1]: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Aprometheus%2Fprometheus%20brotli&type=code
Not entirely sure if this code is correct, but testing/quick indicates it might be. Shall test with some more "real" data sometime™️.
