Hello,
As part of our 5G research at TU Chemnitz, we are exploring scenarios where we can modify the UE's code to send malformed NAS/NGAP messages to the Core (e.g., registration requests, security mode commands, PDU sessions, etc.). The goal is to impact the AMF in the core so that it may crash or experience performance degradation when subjected to a large number of such requests.
We would appreciate any guidance or suggestions regarding which files in srsUE could be modified to support this scenario.
Additionally, we are interested in knowing how many UEs can be simulated in srsUE. Specifically, we aim to connect 100-500 UEs to the core simultaneously. Is this feasible?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Abhishek
