Creating a Git Repo from a Vite project does not work

Describe the bug

Creat repo from React Vite project does not work. It opens the panel. I enter the name, and nothing happens.

Steps to reproduce

Create Vite project.
Create Repo

Expected behavior

Create Vite project
Create repo
Dialog box disappears or a confirmation appears.
Create repo button should disappear

Parity with Local

• I have run the project in my local machine and I could not reproduce the issue.
