Abstract

This issue describes a proposal to grant a user with ability to customize their zaprank page as neutral (not affected by trust score) or regular (as of currently implemented).

Motivation

Rankings are personalized. You will see different results.

Shouldn't they portray a global ranking? ¹

Another reason that I mentioned is more related to the algo of SN. (Idk too much of it). I remember that one of our senior devs have mentioned somewhere that the global rankings for posts differ from personalized rankings ²

log in as anon is showing the content based on the global trust score, but once you log in, the posts will be based on your local trust.

I understand this. My real point is that any difference we notice is supposed to be subtle. In my experience it's often dramatic.³

It seems like we must also have something like a global trust score.⁵

Consideration

Make zaprank customizable from settings menu. Could be something like toggle-able "use global trust score" or similar
