The current config/local_settings.py points to geogig repo at

 /var/lib/geoserver_data/geogig/

While this is where the repo is locally saved - it is causing the rest of the geoshape usage of geogig (layer preview - example shown | but Maploom as a result throws errors when adding a geogig enabled layer.
