Fail to start GDM after installing on kernel 4.1 and above Ubuntu GNOME #105

I've had problems after installing enhanceio to use my ssd as cache for the system.

It fails to start GNOME Display Manager.

I needed to go back to kernel 3.19 in order to start GNOME. EIO is not installed on 3.19 kernel modules.

Is there any way to fix this?
