automate the process when length(x) not a power of 2 #3

it would be really convenient to do reflection/padding etc automatically so the user
does not have to worry about length(x) being a power of 2

@pcarbo can you talk with @zrxing about how to accomplish this? He has ways he uses but they seem not to be automated in the package.
