Despite digits being small in fractions, the fractions themselves occupy significant vertical space so much so that one must use a baselinestretch like 1.25 to avoid unevenness of baselines in a paragraph as soon as one includes things such as $\frac23$. Tested with LaTeX2e and \usepackage{stix2} and 12pt class option.
