We are trying to get OpenNI2 into Debian and found these files with
unfree Licenses. It would be great if you could make a new release soon
with these commits, so we can submit it to Debian.

Any news on this? Otherwise I will remove them for the Debian upload for now.

Hello Jochen,

Apologies for the delay... We took steps to be more responsive from now on.

I'm not certain we can definitely get rid of these problematically licensed files on master, for everybody, because I believe they're needed to build the windows installers.

In the meantime, I merged your changes on a debian branch, here: https://github.com/occipital/OpenNI2/tree/debian.

Would that be enough to get the Debian submission going, for the time being?

Thanks for taking care of this! Much appreciated.

Actually we would need a new release without these files. I've pushed a DFSG free version to the Debian git already, so we should be ok as well. Still it would be great to get this fixed upstream :).

Would this work for you, temporarily?

Thanks, but I've done the same on the Debian side already. The pull request is rather for a more permanent solution (like in future releases).

OK, got it. I'll try and think of something more permanent. Thanks again!
