Bug report

Describe the bug

The Embuary addon crashes during Kodi startup. The addon fails to initialize properly.

Expected Behavior

The Embuary addon should load properly during Kodi startup and be fully functional after initialization.

Actual Behavior

The addon crashes during Kodi startup showing an error message:
Embuary Info-Fehler: Für mehr Informationen Protokoll einsehen

[ script.embuary.info ] Refreshing next airing database
warning : Skin Helper Simplecache --> Exception while initializing _database: unable to open database file
error : EXCEPTION Thrown (PythonToCppException) : -->Python callback/script returned the following error<--

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start Kodi
  2. Observe Embuary addon attempting to load during startup
  3. Addon crashes with error message

Here is some additional context or explanation that might help:

  • The issue occurs consistently on every Kodi startup

Environment

Used Operating system:

  • Windows
  • Operating system version/name: Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2 (Build 22631.4249)
  • Kodi version: 21.1 (problem) / 20.0 (works)
  • mysql database: MariaDB 10
  • userdata on network share
