- run scripts/generate_27_release.py
- edit setup.py created in release dir
- cd c:/onedrive/projects/hazelbean/releases/hazelbean_0.3.0_32bit_py2.7
- c:/anaconda2/python.exe setup.py sdist
- c:/anaconda363/scripts/twine upload dist/* --skip-existing


TO RELEASE 3.6.3
- run scripts/generate_363_release.py
- edit setup.py created in release dir
- cd c:/onedrive/projects/hazelbean/releases/hazelbean_0.3.0_64bit_py3.6.3
- python setup.py sdist
- twine upload dist/* --skip-existing



OLD VERSION

python.exe setup.py sdist

Shorter version... ignore git, just change setup.py, rerun sdist command, then use twine


- if desired create new folder in projects/hazelbean/releases/hazelbean_x.y.z
- in this, create the package folder, 'projects/hazelbean/releases/hazelbean_x.y.z/hazelbean'
- copy files (not dirs) in previous hazelbean release to get setup.py etc files in place at projects/hazelbean/releases/hazelbean_x.y.z
- Move new code from projects/hazelbean to projects/hazelbean/releases/hazelbean_x.y.z/hazelbean
- make sure to remove .pyc
- update setup.py to have new
- ADD TO IGNORE the .pypirc setup file.
- git commit and push
- add a tag specific to the version being released with "git tag 0.x.y.z   # -m "Adds a tag so that we can put this on PyPI.""
- update tag information with "git push --tags origin master". Not sure if this is necessary.
- SKIP FAILS: Run following python command in the new release dir (hazelbean_0.2.0): "python setup.py sdist upload -r pypi"
- INSTEAD: python setup.py sdist. This creates tar.gz
- upload with twine via command line "twine upload dist/* --skip-existing"
