The SunPy Project is happy to announce the v0.2.0 release of the raw data, along with the source code to analyze these data, from a 13-question survey about software and hardware usage in the solar physics community. The survey was open between February 7, 2019 and July 28, 2019.

This release includes the following:

  • Different colormaps for the figures,
  • A stacked horizontal plot for the figure describing exclusive use of Python vs. IDL,
  • Symbols implemented in Markdown instead of LaTeX, and
  • References to respondents (instead of the community).

Here is the Zenodo DOI for this release: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3701855.

Sincerely,
The SunPy Project
