Why we need TOGA++

With the growth of Superfluid Protocol, the expansion of off chain infrastructure that can provide valuable services present challenges to the actual TOGA system. The set of proposals to change TOGA system to the next version (aka TOGA++), is focused on the following axis:

Objectives and challenges:

• Protocol Friendliness
  • (Editor comment) Reduce "undesired" liquidations.
• Network diversity, decentralization and more participation
  • Globally have more Sentinel instances running.
  • Open the network to other types of agents.
  • Add more services supported by Sentinel Network. (Account Top-up, Stream Scheduling)
  • Create the necessary ground to Sentinel Community to better coordinate if they wish so.
• Protocol Robustness
  • Increase locked PIC bid amount. (editor comment) like a "security budget".

Transparent On Going Auction (TOGA): Smart Contract contract that manages PIC positions of network participates.
Sentinel - Piece of software that enable participation on the network.
Action - Act of broadcast a valid EVM transaction capable of change user(s) state.
Agent - External software that can participate in Sentinel network.

More context:

Current Challenges of TOGA:

• TOGA PIC takes most of the liquidations, plebs and pirates don't have much left.

What's Changed Since TOGA (-):

• ACL is released. It enables more advanced automation for the users.
• As automation getting better in Superfluid ecosystem and improved UI/UX of the products built on top of the protocol, the expectation of the number of liquidations should trend towards zero. This further put pressure on the TOGA participation incentives.

Means to achieve the objectives to be considered are:

• More incentives in the system: adding "civilian services"
• Tap into general bot ecosystem, hence to expose the incentives to more clients.

There can even be a rethinking of the "security service" provided by sentinel network general:

• we could just revert to "anarcho" mode of the protocol,
• but tiny streams is a unresolved problem.

• Adding some magic to liquidation callback.
