Using Bépo keyboard layout only in insert-mode

Hi, I wright in French and English and I switch between the us layout and bépo depending on the language. I would like to be able to use the bépo layout when I am in insert-mode but keeping the others shortcuts in the us layout. Using C-\ (input-method) works well but there no bépo available (I don't know how to add a new input method). I tried also to use the keyboard-layout layer but it changes the shortcuts, not the layout in insert-mode.

There is an easy way to do this ? Thanks in advance
