If on start up Jobs sees environment variable TAPIS_LOCAL_NODE_NAME (or tapis.local.node.name) is set to the value "auto", then Jobs will dynamically query the operating system for the hostname. This value controls the level of SSH logging takes place.

May already be done. Look in code for TAPIS_LOCAL_NODE_NAME
