What we have learned from the epoch 2.1 mining contest

COFFEE

• There is nothing to use COFFEE for. Therefore, the exchange value of COFFEE plummets during the contest.
  To improve this situation, epoch 3 will be primarily user-financed through COFFEE debt. Users will need to obtain COFFEE to purchase mining machines and CML seed coupons. They will also have to pay off all of their COFFEE debt to be considered for rewards distribution.

COFFEE interest rate is variable and will now have interest on both the debt and credit sides.

CML

• CML seeds didn't last the entire length of the contest.
  We will need to make the marketplace better stocked with seeds throughout the contest so users who get depleted can buy more.

More Investment Opportunities Needed

• Not enough variety of investment opportunities.
  Your only options during epoch 2.1 were to either mine or to stack COFFEE and earn interest. The latter compound COFFEE strategy really wasn't viable due to the plummeting exchange rate for COFFEE.

But now for epoch 3 we've added 2 more options for earning income:

1. You can be an investor of a TApp by buying into its Bonding Curve.
2. You can host a TApp using your mining CML to earn a hosting fee.
