Request: type directly in canvas

Right now I need to double-click then click in the text field, type something, etc.

Would be cool if I could type right in the canvas. Maybe suggestions for pre-canned text could be placed next to this text field or be a separate tool like a "gift box" kinda icon that contains prompt snippets and example output

because of all the interactions that take place with the canvas itself, having single clicks create texts could be problematic. There are also extra possibilities around prompt creation that can be better handled in a separate area.
