I was receiving security alerts because of a vulnerability in a transitive dependency, which, I eventually realized, could be removed by disabling an optional feature in the direct dependency. So I've done that.

The functionality of gloss is unchanged, but there has been some reorganization under the hood. Notably, a few tests have been added, so that future changes to the markup structure at The Free Dictionary or Etymonline can be detected more easily.
