The read-str/create-program/run chain of operations is clunky and cannot be joined without glue. Clean these up:

  • allow create-program to auto-detect the argument type to call read-str internally.
  • run should accept a program, and not only 2 arguments that make up a program. Extend the API to accept this, without breaking the existing API.
