Gridster drop placeholder ui behaviour

Hello Team,

I was looking for something like this ...

Expected Behavior:
The demo shows while dragging the drop placeholder is something like a line which show where the dragged item is going to be dropped (above or below) without disturbing the layout ...

Current Behavior:
Either it pushes other items out of the way or move around other items ...

I have tried many thing in plugin with in my knowledge but i couldn't achieve the desired result ...
Any suggestions and workarounds are welcomed! ...
