I spun up a new Ubuntu 24.04 WSL distro running Python 3.12 and found that I wasn't able to install and run machine_stats due to an ansible error. I subsequently spun up an Ubuntu 20.04 instance running Python 3.8 and that worked fine.

@justinbarclay I'm placing this in the project for now but we can remove it and have it exist as an issue if you'd prefer.
