The desktop apps trained my muscle memory that the Play button becomes Stop. When I can't complete the activities that are not worth resuming (6' meditation, alarm for a short nap), I mindlessly press the big button and afterwards notice it's Pause instead.

What about a per-timer option that Play toggles with Stop? This makes Pause and Stop switch places?

Thanks for your suggestion, but this feature doesn't really fit this app. Switching between playing and stopping works well on a single timer or stopwatch. However, this app serves as multiple timers where stopping can be costly.

By the way, consider using the system alarm for an extended period because it's more reliable and energy-efficient.

Ah, the 6' meditation timer is multi-step, if you mean that. Sorry for being unclear on this. It alternates a bell with 1' of natural sound (leaves, birds, wind, rain, fire, silence), so I can switch focus over each of the 6 internal sense bases (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, mind). I have a similar 5' qigong timer, where a bell triggers posture switching.

I'll consider adding the feature to a more customizable timer running screen. It will take some time.
