1.0-beta is a drop-in replacement for 1.0-alpha, with numerous performance and stability improvements.

As in all other releases, stability is targeted only at the msgp library, and not the output of the code generator or any of the libraries used to implement the code generation tool.

Official alpha release.

This is the official alpha release. Breaking changes will still be allowed, but will be more seriously scrutinized.

The only interfaces targeted for stability are:

• the /msgp package
• the flags/options of the code generator
