Describe the bug
As has already come up in our last Friday meeting, a lot of texts will no longer be displayed for certain users. For me specifically I was trying to access the 九章算術注 (https://hxwd.org/textview.html?location=KR3f0032) and it showed me the error message: "An error occurred, can't display text. Code:1 (dispseg)" No amount of reloading or trying different ways to access the text seems to work, unfortunately; however, if I log out of my account, the text suddenly becomes visible - which is strange and a bit of a hindrance as I was tasked with adding a translation which I obviously cannot do without being logged in. If this could be fixed, I would greatly appreciate it!

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Log into certain accounts (David and I had the same problem, Christian S. didn't).
  2. Go to certain texts - in this case the 九章算術注 but it also happened when I tried to get to one of my bookmarks in the 幾何原本.
  3. Receive error message.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows
  • Browser: Google Chrome

Small addition: even though I could access the text logged out, the search function led me back to the same error message. :(

This is a strange thing, it seems that one of the files in the user area gets corrupted, although no problems are visible in this file. I can solve that for the users who report it, by going to the file and simply save it manually. For your account, the problem should be solved for now.

Hint for other users: If you encounter this problem, please mention it here, so that I can take action.
I will see if I can find a way to police the files and intervene before a problem is manifest.

It works again, thank you! :) I'll keep the thread open for now in case anyone else wants to report on the same problem.

Thanks. I pinned the issue to the top, so that others can see it. I am also trying to track the problem to prevent this from going unnoticed again.
