CodeOutputStream?

Is there an accessible equivalent of CodedOutputStream in Prost to encode programmatically a protobuf Message?
I'm working on a library to dynamically generate FieldDescriptorProto and corresponding messages (e.g. from a JSON stream). If useful for others I could contribute this code to this crate. Thanks
