THO the "Fairness Doctrine" in journalism
OG $stats 3, 1, 2, 3
OO $stats 3, 4, 2, 0
CG $stats 1, 2, 3, 3
CO $stats 2, 2, 2, 3
The "fairness doctrine" in journalism posits that it is the media's duty to cover ""both sides"" of the story. The New York Times, for example, published articles urging the use of military to quell riots, and articles defending the protests in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder by the American police. The Economist also published articles criticising the crimes of Hamas on the 7th of October whilst also publishing articles on the heavy reactions of the Israeli government toward the same.

TH, as the government of Japan, would aggressively prioritise "New Silicon Island Kyushu" over "Project Rapidus"
OG $stats 2, 3, 2, 2
OO $stats 2, 2, 4, 1
CG $stats 1, 2, 2, 4
CO $stats 4, 2, 1, 2
The Japanese government has two main efforts to boost the semiconductor industry. Once dubbed "The Silicon Island of Japan," Kyushu recently saw Taiwan's Semiconductor Manifacturing Company (TSMC), establish a plant in Kikuyo, Kumamoto City, with an investment of JPY 1 trillion. ASE Technology Holdings, a giant in the packaging industry is also setting up a plant in Kitakyushu. The Japanese government has subsidised JPY 4 trillion for the development of TSMC's facilities under this "New Silicon Kyushu Project". TSMC primarily uses roads and truck drivers for the transport of materials needed for the manufacturing process. Simultaneously, under the nationally backed "Project Rapidus", the government intends to subsidise JPY 1 trillion for the development of facilities by Rapidus, a domestic semiconductor firm. Dubbed Hokkaido's largest developmental plan, Rapidus primarily uses marine channels to transport materials needed for the manufacturing of their chips.

CO $stats 0, 2, 4, 3
Non-state based solutions are initiatives undertaken by activist groups which include, but are not limited to working with non-governmental organisations and community-led movements in order to deal with social problems. These solutions directly circumvent and/or do not rely on state apparatus or state legislations in order to facilitate change. Examples include feminist groups funding contraception, the Black Panthers organising school breakfasts and lunches, modern day mutual aid and bail funds, etc.
QF
THBT religious institutions should use radically leftist interpretations of their teachings in areas of high rates of poverty (e.g Liberation Theology, Islamic Socialism)

Networking is the action or process of interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts. Examples of networking events are buffet-style dinner party and workshops with group discussions.

THW prohibit the use of predictive algorithms in criminal trials.
Predictive analytics is the precess of using data analytics to make predictions based on big data (e.g. age, race, religion, gender). Judges can employ algorithms to predict the likelihood an offender will commit further crimes, their flight risk, and a handful of other factors. These outputs are then used to determine sentencing, bail, or whether to grant (or deny) parole.

He tried to gather the money by every measure possible, and got ½ of the money required. He then negotiated with a researcher (including an offer to pay the rest later) but the researcher rejected by saying he wants to make money out of it as he developed it.
