I have a complicated section on my daily journal which tracks what I have done and should do each day. It gets painfully slow on my laptop. When I edit it, I see a significant jump in CPU use.

Is there any way to speed this up a bit? I have trimmed the number of tasks I have. But it doesn't seem to help.

Other than trying the development version of taskwarrior which (I believe) uses a different storage engine, I don't think taskwiki can be sped up much. :-(

Now taskwarrior has updated to version 3.0, with the storage rewritten, maybe we can port taskwiki to use it?
