I happened to notice that at least on Firefox downloaded directly from Mozilla, my user-agent is Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/100.0 without mentioning Fedora, so I think it could be useful for the extension to be also available on Firefox or Firefox store.

Hi @Mikaela ! With Firefox we've decided to take a different path as we have a control of the package in Fedora - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/firefox/blob/rawhide/f/firefox-fedora-ua.patch - we are patching its sources (which results in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0). You are right that if you download Firefox directly from Mozilla it won't have the UA changed, but currently it doesn't have a priority. I'm more curious why you've decided to use a Firefox from Mozilla and not from Fedora repositories?

The Fedora repository version isn't working with wayland/Sway properly, for example all sidebars such as those from Sidebery or Bitwarden extensions don't load and I wanted to have a newer version, which Firefox Developer Edition provides. I don't know what is the delay between Mozilla and Fedora repositories updating.

I also tried the flatpak from Mozilla, but it doesn't function with smartcards breaking FINEID authentication to goverment/health/etc. services.

Oh - actually you took away one of the main benefits that I wanted to give you for using Firefox on Fedora - Martin Stransky (our Firefox Fedora maintainer) is actively backporting the Wayland related fixes back to the stable Firefox versions so one doesn't need to wait for newer releases. Did the Firefox Developer Edition fixed the issues for you?

Yeah, we are aware of it and were working on improving the Firefox in Flatpak story.

And what was the Fedora package version (you can find it with rpm -q firefox from command line) where you see these problems?
